Isabel Canfield

Research Coordinator


Isabel Canfield is an Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues Research Coordinator at the Baylor College of Medicine Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy. She primarily focuses on projects throughout the Center that explore the ethical issues in genetic and genomic technologies. Isabel graduated from Oberlin College in 2018 with a BA in Philosophy and Law & Society with a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies. She will begin a Ph.D. program in Philosophy at Notre Dame this fall. Her central interests are in ethics, moral philosophy, and the philosophy of action.
